Hoch, Haas Commit to Boeing Classic |

53-year-old Scott Hoch and 55-year-old Jay Haas have committed to this year's Boeing Classic (August 24-30) at TPC Snoqualmie Ridge, tournament officials confirmed today. Hoch, a winner of eleven tournaments on the PGA Tour and three on the Champions Tour will be making his third appearance in the event, having finished T17 in 2007 and withdrawing after only eight holes last year because of an injury to his left wrist. Currently 32nd on the Champions Tour money list, Hoch has played nine events this season finishing in the top ten twice.
 Jay Haas Haas, a two-time winner of the Charles Schwab Cup, will be making his debut at the Boeing. Haas, a 1975 teammate of Hoch's at Wake Forest University, has 12 Champions Tour titles to his name and nine on the regular tour. In 11 events so far this season, he has five top ten finishes and ten top-25s. For the latest tournament information, click here. |
