 Louise Friberg Former Husky standout Louise Friberg shot a 4-under par 69 in the first round of the U.S. Open at Interlachen Country Club in Edina, MN, Thursday and is tied for fourth heading into tomorrow's second round. She is two shots out of the lead held by Ji Young Oh and Pat Hurst. Friberg, a rookie on the LPGA Tour, started her round on the 10th hole. She carded two birdies on her front nine and three more on the back. Set to reach the clubhouse with a bogey-free round, she unfortunately made five on the Par 4 9th, her final hole of the day.
