While first round leaders struggled, Professional Brian Nosler of Langdon Farms GC and amateur Derek Berg of Trilogy GC fired rounds of 67 and 69 respectively, to lead the Toyota of Bellevue Washington Open Invitational after two rounds at Glendale CC. They hold a slim one stroke margin over PGA Professional Ryan Benzel of Mill Creek CC. Berg has previously won two Pacific Northwest PGA majors, the 2005 and 2006 Northwest Open Invitational while Nosler, a former tour professional, is participating in his first Pacific Northwest PGA event as a pro.

Benzel, the 2005 Pacific Northwest PGA Player of the Year was the low score of the day with a five under par 66 following a 73 on day one. Chuck Milne, winner in 1973 and 1976, is two strokes back on 140 while defending champion Tim Feensta and Corey Prugh are within striking distance of the leaders on 141, one under par.
The Toyota of Bellevue Washington Open Invitational concludes tomorrow with tee times from 7:00 am - 11:30 off # 1 with the leaders off at 11:30. The Washington Open Invitational is a 54-hole individual competition.
