Benzel Ties for Fourth at PGA Professional National Championship |

With a closing two-under-par 69, Ryan Benzel, head professional at Mill Creek Country Club, climbed seven places up the overnight leaderboard to finish tied fourth at the PGA Professional National Championship today. Played over two courses; Twin Warriors and Santa Ana, near Albuquerque, NM, the championship was won by Illinois's Mike Small whose four-round total of 277 was two better than Benzel.
This is the second year in a row the 30-year-old from Spokane has tied for fourth and the third year in succession he has finished in the top five.
