 Moore; first defense There are five Washington golfers in the field for this week's Wyndham Championship at Sedgefield CC in Greensboro, NC. The best of them in Thursday's first round was Ryan Moore who won this event twelve months ago and who opened with a two-under-par 68 to finish the day tied for 56th. |

 Charlie Kern Of the eight players still in with a chance of winning the PNGA Junior Boys Championship at Oakbrook G&CC in Lakewood, six are from Washington. But the three thought most likely to contend for the title; Jamie Hall, Carl Jonson and James Feutz are not among them.
