Fourteen high school seniors from Oregon and Washington, will be attending college in the fall on an Evans Scholarship. These teens have spent a portion of the past two years working as caddies at their local courses.  At separate meetings last week in Oregon and Washington, nominees were awarded the four-year scholarships, which cover tuition and on-campus housing.

The Evans Scholarship Goes Way Back

Since 1930, the Western Golf Association (WGA) has sponsored and funded the Evans Scholars Foundation, which administers the nation’s largest privately funded college scholarship program. Evans Scholars will attend the University of Oregon, Oregon State University, University of Washington, or Washington State University.
