Interactive Map Search For a geographic course search, our Interactive Map is very cool. In addition to golf courses, our map provides information on a variety of other useful services and attractions located throughout the State. If you are a first time map user, take a minute to read the notes below Notes on the Map: When finished, just click on the map image or link at the bottom of the page * When using the map it's best to search by regions / areas of the State rather than viewing all courses statewide. Although it's cool to view all the courses in the state at once, it's not the most efficient way to search * Click on a red "Push Pin" and a pop-up balloon will appear with basic inforamtion for that course or business - If a photo does not appear in the ballooon, there is no reason to click on the "View Profile" link as there is no more information available. For courses or businesses that display a photo, the "View Profile" link will provide more detailed information * To exit a "View Profile" page and return to the map, either click the "Map" button in the upper left of the page or hit the "Back" button on your browser - Reselect your category and just click the "Update Map Button - The map region you were most recently searching will automatically be refreshed * If planning a trip, you can add courses, places to stay, eat, etc., to a 'tour". By doing so you can create a travel itinerary as you search. Very useful! Just click the "Add to a Tour" link on the pop-up window or from the customer profile page * Like any new piece of software, the map it not totally bug free yet. If it ever slows down or fails to load, just refresh your browser and all will be healed:-) *Photos - No need to click on the "Show Photos" button on the upper right of the map pages. They are generic and have nothing to do with your search but rather are a necessary part of the Google software. If you do view the photos and then want to hide them again, just click "Hide Photos" and then the "Update Map" button on the far upper-right of the page. |
