Couples Misses Cut by 1

+4 was one too many

Our most famous homegrown PGA Tour star, Fred (Freddie) Couples, finished his 2nd round at The Masters at four over par and missed the cut by one. He was tied with the great Gary Player for most consecutive cuts made at The Masters, and had his birdie putt gone in on the 18th, he'd have owned the cut record outright. Full Story

South African Trevor Immelman fired his second consective round of 68 on Friday to hold the 36-hole lead at The Masters. His halftime total of -8 is one better than Americas' talented, if not unheralded Brandt Snedeker. Three others are tied at -5 including my favorite leaping lefty, Phil Mickelson. Full Story
