77-year-old Pepper Roberts, a veteran of the Korean War, and the American Lake Veterans Golf Course he operates in Tacoma have been nominated for an MSN Butterfly Award, which seeks to 'acknowledge exceptional people and reward exceptional charities', in the Best Hometown Hero category.  Help turn this...  ...into this Should American Lake beat out the other four nominees, the course will receive a $10,000 check which will be earmarked for the new Rehabilitation and Learning Center, a project that began in July 2008 when the old 'Caddy Shack' was torn down to make way for the new building, designed by Northwest Home Designing at no cost to the Friends of American Lake Veterans Golf Course.
