Steve Wozeniak

Bellevue Municipal's Director of Instruction Steve Wozeniak is now offering a series of four half-hour lessons for $200. The price for juniors will be $175. Also, through June 7th 2008, all new students can book a one hour lesson for only $80 (a savings of $40). Steve has taught over 50 tour players and more than 300 PGA/LPGA teaching professionals. Many of his students and assistants have gone on to tournament wins and top teaching awards throughout the country. Steve has direct lineage to Sam Byrd, Ben Hogan's teacher for over twenty years and who is a twenty time PGA Tour winner himself. Working with Jimmy Ballard, Steve has helped several tournament players including Rocco Mediate, Jim Colbert, Emily Klein, Jim Dent, Marco Dawson, Leonard Thompson and Jim McLean, to name a few.

Jackson Park will be running its 'Chicks With Sticks' program again this year after a very successful first year in 2007. Open to all Female golfers (of all skill levels), the program runs every Monday beginning June 2, 2008 and ends on Monday August 25, 2008. On June 2nd, complimentary wine and cheese will be offered to all who attend.
The cost is $23.95 which includes greens fees and power cart. On the second Monday of each month, a free clinic will be given from 4:30 - 5:00pm. First tee-time is 4:00pm, and times can be arranged by calling (206) 838-4653 - press '0' then press '1' Jackson Park Golf Course Pro Shop. You have the option of scheduling your tee times for the entire summer or on a weekly basis.
