Peck is one of six Washingtonians in the field of 155. The others are Kevin Penner of Sammamish (147), Gaston De La Torre of Brush Prairie (currently +5), Andrew Yun of Tacoma (150), and Spokane's Justin Haase (currently +18) and Garrett Howard (164). The cut is expected to fall at +6 or +7.
At the US Junior Girl's Championship in Hartford, CT, meanwhile Silverdale's Erynne Lee and Seattle's Katrina Hegge made it through strokeplay qualifying to the matchplay section starting Wednesday. Chessey Thomas of Spokane, Rui Li of Seattle and Seo Hee Moon of Mukilteo failed to progress. |
