Finishing the three-day tournament at 68-over 932, Washington did move up one spot in the standings after opening the round in 18th place. Sophomore Molly Aronsson's final round 76 saw her finish tied for 38th on the individual leaderboard at 11-over 227. "We actually played the first nine holes really well today," head coach Mary Mulflur said after the Huskies' season came to a close. "We just ran out of gas after making the turn. If you look at our first nine and our second nine it was just a huge difference. But we were able to get some good experience this week and it's something we can really build on for next year." The top eight teams earned a spot in the NCAA Championships to be hosted by New Mexico, May 20-23. UCLA won the Central Regional title as the only team to finish under par at 3-under 861. Also qualifying for nationals were Purdue, Denver, TCU, Texas A&M, Alabama, host Texas and LSU.
