Women of all golfing abilities are invited to participate in the scramble format tournament. The $130 registration fee includes golf with cart, continental breakfast, buffet lunch and awards and prizes. Golfers may register as individuals or twosomes using an online form at http://www.ewgaseattle.org/.

Organizers also welcome volunteers, donors and sponsors who want to help promote awareness of coronary heart disease – the leading cause of death for American women.  According to the American Heart Association, nearly twice as many women in the United States die of heart disease, stroke and other cardiovascular diseases as from all forms of cancer, including breast cancer. 

Raise your spirits and some money

About 460,000 women die of cardiovascular disease annually, more than the total number of cardiovascular disease-related deaths in men or the next five causes of death combined.
