Jackie Little of Port Alberni, BC, captured the 23rd PNGA Senior Women's Amateur Championship at Illahe Hills CC in Salem, OR, Tuesday, and with it her third major victory of the year.
The Canadian Senior Women's Amateur and BCGA Senior Women's Amateur champion, Little, 50,
shot a final round 73 for a two-round total of 148, +2, four strokes better than Terri Frohnmayer of Salem, OR, in second and six better than Alison Murdoch of Victoria, BC, in third. Top Washingtonian was Ginny Burkey of Fircrest who finished sixth after rounds of 76 and 81.
